Information we collect
- Orders and support: your name, email, delivery address, selected products, promotion details, order and payment status, shipping details, and messages you send us.
- Payments: our payment providers, Stripe or Square depending on checkout, collect payment details. Our checkout uses hosted payment pages or secure payment fields; we receive payment references and transaction status rather than your full card number or card security code.
- Product testing: participation acknowledgements, feedback, photos, vehicle or installation details you choose to provide, reminder preferences and optional marketing permission. Please avoid including other people's personal information in submissions.
- Technical and usage information: hosting and service logs may include IP addresses, browser information, request times and errors. Analytics measures page visits, navigation, product selections, cart activity and downloads.
How we use information
We use information to calculate and fulfill orders, process payments and refunds, deliver order updates, answer questions, prevent fraud, troubleshoot the site and improve our products and services. For product testers, we use feedback to evaluate the products and send participation messages and reminders. You can stop tester reminders through your private feedback form.
Using tester photos or comments in marketing requires the separate optional permission requested on the feedback form. Contact details are not published with that material. You can ask us to stop future marketing use by emailing us.
Browser storage and analytics
The site uses local storage to remember your cart and session storage for promotion and checkout progress. Checkout storage can include contact and delivery information and private checkout references. Clearing browser data removes saved information and may interrupt a checkout.
We use Google Analytics 4, which may use cookies and process device, browser and usage information. Our analytics code excludes form contents, contact details, free-form messages, query strings and URL fragments. Private order and feedback pages send a generic page view instead of their private URL. Google Signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in our site configuration.
Our analytics code respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by not loading Google's analytics tag or sending analytics events when either signal is enabled. When information is shared
We share information as needed with providers that support payments, hosting, data storage, email, analytics and shipping. This can include Stripe, Square, Google and the carrier handling your shipment. Providers may also process information under their own privacy policies, including Stripe's Privacy Policy and Square's Privacy Notice.
We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, address fraud or security issues, protect legal rights, or complete a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the information and its purpose, including order fulfillment, customer support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Deletion requests may be limited by those needs. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep private order and feedback links safe: anyone with a valid link may be able to access the associated information.
Your choices and requests
Email info@hornorworks.com to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw optional marketing permission, or ask about how information is used. We may need to verify your identity. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights, including obtaining a copy of your information or appealing a request decision. Explain your request in your email; do not send full payment card details.
Children and service locations
Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. Our store currently ships within the United States; our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
